Sledge hockey team of Ugra has become the winner of the 1st stage of the championship of Russia which takes place in the city of Aleksin (Tula Region) from October 10 to October 17, 2012.

On Monday October 15, 2012 the athletes of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra defeated “Vladivostok” of Primorsky Krai with the score 13 to 0.

On Saturday October13, 2012 the ahtletes of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra beat the team “Atlant” from the city of Mytishchi with the score 9 to 1 at the Sledge Hockey Championship of Russia.

On October 12, 2012 at the 1st stage of the Sledge Hockey Championship of Russia the athletes of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra played with reigning champions of the country – team “Phoenix” from Moscow Region. The gamed ended 2 to 1 for Moscow team.

In the first period Ugra sledge hockey players managed to make two goals to the opponent’s net. The score was opened by the winner of the silver medal of the Paralympic Games Sochi-2014 Nikolai Terentiev after the pass made by AlekseiPetrov. Nikolai Chukhontsev scored the second goal with the assistance of Andrei Sokolov and Vladimir Litvineneko.

Andrei Sokolov and Aleksandr Chalin made two goals each, Nikolai Terentiev made a hat trick as well as Aleksei Petrov and Denis Batiuk scored one goal each.
