Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra
The Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra was established by the order of the Government of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra on November 16, 2006. After establishment of this institution disabled people could go in for sport actively.
Today the Centre develops 40 sports included in the Paralympics, the Deaflympians and the Special Olympics. In the Sports Centre for the Disabled 63 disabled athletes are employed, 50 of them are members of national teams of Russia in thirteen sports.Defender
