Non-profit Partnership “Sledge Hockey Club “Ugra”

Non-profit Partnership “Sledge Hockey Club “Ugra” was established on February 2, 2012.

Activity of the Club is aimed at popularization, development and support of sledge hockey in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra as well as at development of cooperation with Russian and foreign institutions for mutually profitable partnership.

The sledge hockey club is a team that unites 18 players, six of them are the members of the national team of Russia - Konstantin Shikhov, Vasiliy Varlakov, Nikolai Terentiev, Vladimir Litvinenko, Andrey Sokolov and Evgeni Plotnikov.


Aims:

Involvement of disabled people in physical training and sports.

Support of participation of disabled people in civil, social and cultural life of the society, liquidation of disability discrimination.


Objectives:

  • participation of sledge hockey players of Ugra in Russian and international competitions among sledge hockey clubs;
  • holding of championships, cup series and other competitions in the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra;
  • organization and holding of international hockey competitions in the territory of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra;
  • improvement of sportsmen training system;
  • organizations of events connected with preparation and participation in Russian and international competitions of national and club teams of Russia;
  • development of cooperation with national hockey federations and leagues of foreign countries;
  • performing of work connected with sledge hockey formation, development and coordination.
