The national team of Russia won the bronze medal of the World Championships held in Buffalo (the USA) from April 26 till May 3. In these competitions our national team played five matches. At the group stage the Russian team lost to the USA team with the score 6:1, won from Italy - 0:3 and Germany - 0:10. In the semifinals, Canada defeated Russia with the score 3:2. And in the final match for the 3rd place Norway won with the score 2:1.

All-Russian sledge hockey competition is over. In the final of the championship “Ugra” played with the club from Moscow Oblast “Pheonex”. The opponent won the match with the score 2:0.

On April 13th the sledge hockey Russian national team consisting of the stickmen of the Ugra Sledge Hockey Club Konstantin Shikhov, Vasiliy Varlakov and Andrey Sokolov, won a landslide victory over the South Korea during the 2013 IPS A-League World Championship.

Sportsmen of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra Konstantin Shikhov, Vasiliy Varlakov and Andrey Sokolov have been capped for the Russian national team at the 2013 IPS A-League Sledge Hockey World Championship which is held on April 12 - 20 in Goyang, South Korea.
