”Ugra” sledge hockey players opened a new season. The athletes are being trained in Kislovodsk. Ugra sledge hockey team started a new season with the training activities in the city-resort of Kislovodsk. According to the coach Aleksandr Zykov, at this stage the emphasis is laid on general physical training: “The athletes are mainly trained in the gym. The team includes five new athletes who appeared in the club at the end of the previous season. It is planned that on August 15 sledge hockey players will arrive in Khanty-Mansiysk, where they will continue to hone their skills on the base of the Ice Arena. The first match of the season is not far off. In October the 1st stage of the Championship of Russia will be held. It is known that seven sledge hockey teams will take part in ice battles.
