First game has ended with the unconditional victory of "Ugra". On the 10th minute of the first period the score was opened by the captain of our team Konstantin Shihov. In the second period "Ugra" strengthened its position as a leader.On the first minute the opponent's net was defeated by Nikolay Chuhoncev. On the 10th minute the goal was scored by the defenseman Vasiliy Varlakov. Konstantin Shihov scored the fourth goal. As a result the second period was finished with the total score of 4:0. In the third period german team defended strenuously and tried to win back. However, on the 13th minute the forward of "Ugra" Vladimir Litvinenko scored yet another goal. Finally, the 11 seconds before the end of the game, Vladimir repeated his success and scored the sixth goal in the opponent's net. As a result, the match was finished with the total score of 6:0, in favor of sledge hockey team 'Ugra". On September 21 the german national team won over "Ugra" in a very intense game with a total score of 4:2.The goals were scored by Konstantin Shihov and Vladimir Litvinenko. On September 22 the third match was played. In the first period the score was 0:0 as a result of both team's goalies confident net defence. In the second period on the 8th minute of the game the first goal was scored by the defenseman of "Ugra" Vasiliy Varlakov. Finally, 3 seconds before the end of the second period the opponent's net was defeated by Alexander Chalin. In the third period "Ugra" vigorously attacked the opponents and on the 11th minute the third goal was scored by Konstantin Shihov. Just 27 seconds later the game's score was 4:0 in favor of "Ugra", the goal was scored by Alexander Chalin. "Ugra" proved that its professional level is growing and they can be a serious competition not for the club teams only, but also for the national team of Germany, which entered the "A" league this year and is fighting for its right to participate in Paralympic Games in Sochi, 2014.- Comment by the president of sledge hockey club "Ugra" Eduard Isakov.- The major backbone of our team are five experienced athletes who opposed their opponents with confidence, attacked toughly and as a result "Ugra" has 12 scored pucks against 4 pucks of Germany in the total of three matches played. Up next are Paralympic Games and I hope that at least five of our team's athletes will make it to the main team of Russia national sledge hockey team and will perform tactically beautiful game and will show competent teamwork'.
