Yesterday on October 16 the team of “Ugra” met on ice Orenburg “Skyhawks” – one of the youngest sledge hockey teams of Russia. The direction of “Ugra” coaches for the match was to kick at least 4 pucks in each period and not to allow any goal, to train and nail down all tactical and technical elements which had been learnt during the preparation to the competitions. In the first period the score was 3:0, Konstantin Shikhov, NikolayChukhontsev and Mikhail Mokretsov made three goals. The second period became the same as the first period. “Ugra” kicked three goals again. Two pucks were kicked by captain Shikhov and one goal was made by NikolayTerentiev. The third period was more effective in comparison with the previous one. Ugra players made seven goals to the opponents. The goals were made by VasiliyVarlakov, Aleksey Petrov, Konstantin Shikhov, NikolayChukhontsev, AleksandrChalin, two goals were made by NikolayTerentiev. However Orenburg players could make a goal. The result of the meeting - 13:1. 7 teams took part in the 1st stage of the 5th Russia championship: “Udmurtia”, “Phoenix” (Moscow Oblast), “Ugra”, “White Bears” (Moscow city), “Star” (Moscow city), “Skyhawks” (Orenburg Oblast), Phoenix 2 (Moscow Oblast). Today at 13.15 by Moscow time “Ugra” plays with the team of Moscow Oblast “Phoenix 2”.
