The chairman of regional office of the all-Russian public organization "Paralympic Committee of Russia" in Chelyabinsk region Anatoly Halabov, invited teams of Ugra and Udmurtia for participation in this tournament for the purpose of hockey sledge promoting in Chelyabinsk region. According to him, soon in Chelyabinsk region the team on the sledge hockey will be formed.

"The Ugra team is ready to leave on actions of this sort in other regions too that the sledge hockey actively developed in Russia. – Makes comments the president of the sledge - hockey club "Ugra", the member of parliament of the Duma of Ugra Edward Isakov. - I consider that in each region where there is a team of continental hockey league it is necessary to form surely sledge hockey team. It will promote observance of the rights of people with disability on occupations by this sport".

Open tournament on hockey sledge of Chelyabinsk region becomes the season beginning for Ugra athletes. For the first time to the sledge - hockey ice there are beginning players of "Ugra" - goalkeeper Evgeny Plotnikov and defender Azolkhon Makhmudov.
