Athletes of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra - Konstantin Shikhov , Vasiliy Varlakov and Sergey Badaev, being the members of the national team of Russia, will take part in the Sledge Hockey New Year Cup, which will be held in Podolsk from December 7 to December 11, 2012.Athletes of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra - Konstantin Shikhov , Vasiliy Varlakov and Sergey Badaev, being the members of the national team of Russia, will take part in the Sledge Hockey New Year Cup, which will be held in Podolsk from December 7 to December 11, 2012.

Five teams from Great Britain, Sweden, Czech Republic, Estonia and Russia participate in this tournament.

The Sledge Hockey New Year Cup has been taking place for the third year in a row. Last year Russian sledge hockey players including Konstantin Shikhov and Sergey Badaev from Ugra , became the second in this tournament.

On the first day of the competition on December 8 the team of Russia meets Sweden team and opens the tournament this year.
