Sportsmen of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra Konstantin Shikhov, Vasiliy Varlakov and Andrey Sokolov have been capped for the Russian national team at the 2013 IPS A-League Sledge Hockey World Championship which is held on April 12 - 20 in Goyang, South Korea.

The www.rezeptsport.ru says the eight heaviest national teams participate in the competitions, here they are: USA, Canada, South Korea, Russia, Norway, Czech Republic, Italy and Sweden. The top five will clinch berths in the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games. The three other stayed behind teams will play in the qualification tournament later this year.
The Goyang World Championship will become a coming-out for the Russian team in the top league matches. On April 13th the Russian players encounter the Korea team and on April 14th and 16th they are to cross sticks with the teams of Canada and Italy correspondingly.
