A giddy success of the Russian sledge hockey players in International tournament in Italy Sportsmen of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra Konstantin Shikhov and Vasiliy Varlakov playing for the Russian national sledge hockey team won the Turin International Tournament, held February 5th-9th, 2013.

Sportsmen of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra Konstantin Shikhov and Vasiliy Varlakov playing for the Russian national sledge hockey team won the Turin International Tournament, held February 5th-9th, 2013.

On 8th February the Russian sledge hockey players crossed sticks with the Italian national team, and the game ended with the score 3 to 0 for Russia.

On Saturday, February 9th, the final games were played resulting in teams tabulations as follows: Russia came to the fore making a 1-0 mash on the Czech Republic. The third place took the home team who overreached Japan in 8 to 3.

The next start for the Russian national team will become the IPS A-League Sledge Hockey World Championship which is held this April 5– 21 in South Korea.
